Mr Spina, I do not know you and I don't live in city limits so I can't even vote, but I love this statement.

The fact that Mr. Buskirk & Mr. Spina both do NOT understand how TIF districts work is alarming. TIF districts do not change the amount of tax paid by anyone. It simply changes how the dollars are allocated and spent. They are an essential tool for economic development. By implementing TIF districts, Martinsville has finally put itself on the same playing field as every other Indianapolis area community. Economic development will not happen by waiting on industry/business to come to us. We have to be proactive and take the steps necessary to make our fine city attractive to potential employers. TIF districts are one step in that process. We do not need a Mayor who does not comprehend this.

I have a question for the board. Does anyone know exactly how many businesses has Mr. Spina owned/operated and how many name changes have those businesses made? Researching, I've found enough to make one ponder Mr. Spina's ability to manage anything successfully.

Arse,PossiblySpina's quote, "Businesses don't pay taxes. consumers do.", could shed some light on his business practice. And he was overheard saying "I'll just fire city councilmen" does he really understand so little that he thinks the Mayor hires and fires councilmen?!?
As for "Buttsquirt" his 12 years of ineptness and slammed shut door policy with his wife as 'temporary' gatekeeper/excutive assitant, speaks for itself. He is someone who abused the excutive session. I for one could never vote for a 'team' that thinks abuse,intimidation or dictatorship is acceptible.

Debate? There is nothing these people could debate, collectively they haven't got a clue what our current administration has accomplished and are well on the road to getting done in the next 4 years. There is only one clear message I'm getting from our current administration, "Come to the meetings, you will be heard, be a part of helping make this community a wonderful place to live." I'm with you Arse, Deckard is getting my hard earned vote!
