If you care so much more than the rest of us why don't you move to Switzerland and give up your US citizenship then your tax money wouldn't be used to fund wars?
Your comment is a sad example of someone attacking, presuming and judging someone she doesn't even know that well. Very sad. What is even sadder is you picking fights on this board with everyone that doesn't agree with your opinions on gay marriage, illegal drugs, and the military. Most of us on here realize that other people have differing opinions, we discuss it and than we let it be at that. Why do you so angrily personally attack? I'm taking a shot in the dark here but perchance has one of your children been kicked out of the military because he was a homosexual drug addict? I have noticed how people change their minds about certain topics when they find out that a loved one is engaged in the activity. Is that the case for you? Is this your way of justifying their wrongful behaviour and relieving the guilt you feel for them not turning out the way you wanted. It doesn't make you a bad parent, you know. I'm sure you did your best. I'm being serious here and not sarcastic. Shalom. |
| A Hoosier Thursday, April 21, 2011: 1:01 pm More from A Hoosier | Rat, you must think me insane. I would never, ever allow my child to join the military. I would pay them to stay out. Danny, glad you are reading my post. You too, Rat. Fox must not be talking about the four countries we are currently fighting in. What a shame. I would call Rupert and demand they tell you about the money being spent by the U$ to kill civilians. Good luck, I don't think that fits into their agenda. What would Halliburton due without your tax dollar? |

| A Hoosier Friday, April 22, 2011: 9:09 am More from A Hoosier | John, and we wonder why people want to kill us and bring harm to our families, when our government is doing is killing in our name around the world. If a government killed your family, what would you do? The media is a probable. They are interested in protecting their own interest, free trade for one, then they are in democracy. Support any news media outside of the 5/6 major ones. We are fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Libya. |

| John Q Public Friday, April 22, 2011: 4:42 pm More from John Q Public | Well you can take Iraq off your list. Operation New Dawn last fall ended combat operations in Iraq. Off the top of my head I would add Yemen and Somalia to your list. Probably a few other places in the Middle East and Central America could be added also. I don't really understand the point you were trying to make with your last statement. All I was saying is that there are way more than 4 countries we are actually fighting in. Truth be told I bet we are still fighting in Iraq but fighting for the US was supposed to end last fall with new dawn. We should be in a training and transition role now. |
| Ratcatcher Saturday, April 23, 2011: 10:47 am More from Ratcatcher | Hoosier how can you say that you would never allow your children to join the military? Aren't they adults that are FREE to make their own decisions? Why doesn't your group sponsor and moderate a mayoral debate? It could be a fundraiser. I'm sure plenty of people would pay to see it. Seriously. I don't even live in Martinsville but I would go just for the fun of it. It would be better than going to the movies. |
| A Hoosier Monday, April 25, 2011: 9:20 pm More from A Hoosier | John, I do not believe that the U$ has 50,000 troops in Iraq and no bullets are being fired. If you will google journalists and Iraq, you will find journalists are being arrested and beaten. Wonder why? Freedom of press does not apply in Iraq. The U$ drove tanks through the protestors in Iraq last week. Wonder why? |
