Report This Comment		I just read the Martinsville Chamber of Commerce report on the candidate responses to questions. Mr. Badger did a good job of sticking to the questions and providiong short, specific answers. He looks like the best of the bunch, including the incumbents, who tended to over-verbalize and speak with politicoeze.
Is that a word? Anyway, I like Mr. Badger's matter of fact and down to earth responses.

Report This Comment		And a big boo-hiss at those who elected (pun not intended) to pass on responding. They were:

Phil Deckard Jr.

A special boo-hiss goes to the incumbents who didn't respond. No votes needed, but it would have been nice to see what they thought about the issues.

An extra special boo-hiss goes to Doug Arthur, who provided a nebulous single response that was to cover all the questions, then blew it up with, "To give exact answers to your questions; I feel they have to be studied in great detail by many talented people of this community." Sigh....politicoeze at its worst.

Some fresh faces with ideas is worth a try.
