I have a great respect for him and the service he has given this community. Never once have I said anything negative on a personal level. On the political level, I would be remiss for not pointing out certain things nor can he, or anyone else, rightfully expect anyone, including me, not to point out some of the things he has said that are not true. Other than that, I believe our best days are ahead of us. I just don't believe they are with either Mr. Buskirk or Mr. Deckard at the helm. They've had twenty-four years to do whatever they were going to do and they haven't done it yet which means they aren't going to. Like I said, I like Phil and have much respect, but I believe his time has passed and it's time to pass the torch and let the next generation lead. That's my belief, but, that's up to the voters to decide. If Phil wins, I wish him well. |
