Landersdale Road just east of Bridge Street in Mooresville is a mess. My grandson was driving down the road and hit a pot hole and now his truck is making a funny noise. I asked one of the people on the county commission if they would pay to have it fixed, as he can't afford it, but was told no, they probably won't. I bet if it was one of their vehicles that got damaged they would get it fixed by the county.

My sister lives out past Eminence. There is no good way to get to her house from Paragon anymore. The only way you can avoid the terrible roads is to go all the way past Martinsville and around, or all the way to Cloverdale and around. It's ridiculous how bad those roads are. It's like the area that time forgot. If I lived on one of them I would be so irate.

Maybe the best thing about a banged up/bad road is that people can't drive too fast like idiots and hit something that matters. KIDS dart, dogs figure out how to get out of fences and front doors too. cats, cattle, horses etc. This may sound silly, but the money isn't there for things like this right now. If my grandaddy was still alive he'd think this was silly. Slow down, leave earlier if your in such a hurry, if you live in a farm community-respect it. Tractors, BIG tractors are going to be there. NO FARMS=NO FOOD. Maybe if the roads were all gravel, everyone would drive slower. Or y'all could move?

Can someone tell me who to talk to concerning the horrible condition of St. Rd. 44 and 37 at and near the stop light. This has been like this for months and no one seems to even try to repair the rough pavement. I hope they are not waiting on I-69.
