This is a repeat. Tony Hollis had the same charges at the same venue. Hope this officer will be back on the job soon.

Criminal charges be damned, personal behavior dictates. Hollis fought with his arresting officers...big difference.

One would assume Sheriff Downey would be familiar with how to handle this situation. I believe this is his second deputy in drunked trouble during his short term.

Not sure this warrants front page big news! Lets hope we don't catch the author of the story doing something in public he shouldn't be doing.

why isnt it front page news if my next door neighbor gets arrested for public intoxication, I personally know this officer, and he is a good officer that just made a mistake. I could see it being front page news if it was operating a vehicle while intoxicated or something of that nature, but not for something this petty.

This poor officer just made a mistake! I mean this Martinsville where the school superintendent,Ron Furniss, drives the schools car to Broad Ripple, stops at the Jazz Kitchen and Binkley's and has a few, then drives to Plainfield, stops at the Coachman drinks some more, then gets pulled over going twice the legal speed limit and blows 0.16 (twice the legal limit) and still gets to keep his job! Cut this poor guy a break.
