I have a hard time believing that the pay changes are not tied to the divorce proceedings between the Manley's! How else would you force someone out from their job?

Pretty shady... "Cut" the clerks pay, but we are adding another part time person from the City Clerks' office.. Come on Scotty, run your own office. Pretty Disappointed!!

That position should not have been receiving $23.35 per hour in the first place. I respect the Board for bringing it into alignment with other local comparable jobs. If memory serves me correctly a trained person was relieved of this position for Missy to receive training from and take over. Continue cleaning up this mess.

For comparison, some county elected officials earn less than $ 23.35/hour (if salary is divided by scheduled work hours). Most county employees earn less than $15/hr and work about 35 hrs/wk. I don't know the woman or the workload, but that does seem a bit high for part-time work. The family situation just adds fodder for the rumor-mongers.
