New astroturf is very nice for all the athletes that will benefit from the upgrade. I do have to ask with all the money that was spent on this new field, what benefits will the classroom receive from this?

As long as parents and the community place more importance on sports our students will continue to score well below students of other countries. This is a prime example of where priorities lie for most Americans. Foreigners come here with a better education under their belts and take our jobs while we teach our kids how to play games instead of learning how to compete in the real world and support themselves.

Exactly why Caeser invented the Olympiad-to take the eyes off the big picture and busy everyone with sports and the like so he could do his evil. So many Americans are too worried about trivial things such as this. The classroom has nothing to do with astroturf.
