Hmm, funny how that works. Once again he's caught red handed lying to everyone. And you call this an honorable man. Nothing like a little back peddling is there. He's a disgrace to the office he holds. Ahh, what do I know right. |
| Ledge Sunday, August 28, 2011: 4:27 pm More from Ledge | I am so glad nobody has ever taken the Danny Stewart for Mayor Campaign seriously. What an embarrassment it is to read his posts. They are full of name calling, and swear words. He is definitely not a good representitive of Martinsville or the family name. |
| Ratcatcher Monday, August 29, 2011: 7:57 am More from Ratcatcher | Ledge, I wouldn't go so far as to say NOBODY has taken his campaign for mayor seriously. Remember he did get 60 votes in the primary. |

| TCory3 Monday, August 29, 2011: 11:14 pm More from TCory3 | Was it 60 or 6, oh well whats the difference! Your gonna sit and call the Mayor a disgrace, have you checked the mirror lately Danny? You don't know him! Mayor Deckard cares for our city and community like no one has! You lost Stewart, multiple times! Put your big boy pants on, give it up and go back to CB land! By the way, when you aren't copying and pasting others words and quotes, well quite frankly your benightedness shows! |
| Danny Stewart Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 6:25 pm More from Danny Stewart | Family name? Do tell Ledge. When did you start carrying the family name? |
| Danny Stewart Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 6:28 pm More from Danny Stewart | As for you Cory. If he cares so much for Martinsville; then why does he lie about everything? |
| nobodyimportant Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 6:35 pm More from nobodyimportant | Danny, perhaps you should be specific about the lies you say he tells. Putting "he lies about everything" out is pretty juvenile. How silly is it to say that every word spoken is a lie. Be specific, if there are any. |
| Ratcatcher Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 8:35 pm More from Ratcatcher | I must agree with Nobody. Danny, you can't just throw out vague statements. Please be specific and cite facts and not just your opinion. |
| DANNY NEWMAN Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 10:25 pm More from DANNY NEWMAN | Danny S,, What is your problem dude??? Why do you keep ranting and raving on and on when here??? You call the mayor a lier,, as well as several others whom dont go along with your way out opinons,, B-4 you got your rear end slaughtered in your feeble attempts running for offices,, you were a pleasure to talk with when on here.. I,m praying for you for all this anger you have inside.. Deckard for Mayor!! |
| Danny Stewart Thursday, September 1, 2011: 4:46 pm More from Danny Stewart | Nobody, Ratcatcher, fair question. I've covered it before, but perhaps a refresher is needed. 1) In the state of the city address, the mayor stated the crime rate was going down. In an interview a couple of days later, police chief says crime rate is actually on the rise. 2) In recent article about new commission, it was brought up that the commission could issue bonds for the building of the new nursing home. The mayor stated if the bonds were issued, the city would not be responsible for them. This is not true. Any bonds issued by said city or town are the responsibility of said city or town. This also requires one to ask; if the company wanting to build this place is so well off, then why would there even be a consideration of issuing bonds for a privately owned busines/residence? 3) During the primary, the mayor claimed that I and many others had never been to any council meetings. A lie at least on my part. Then he tries to change the premise by trying to say I was never involved in the discussions. Again a lie. I'm sure you can find my voice on the record many times. This claim also makes him look like a hypocrit since he never went to any meeting while Buskirk was mayor. Whats good for the goose is not good for the gander it would seem. 4)In this article alone, he claims that he would not have any control over businesses and that it would be the councils decision. The bill clearly states it would be him. Now you may claim he had not had time to read it, which we know is not true since he brought it up last year, yes 2010. If that was the case, he would look like a complete fool for not reading it first. 5) He claimed that when Coffin looked into Buskirk running, he had nothing to do with it. I and several others heard Coffin in an interview with WCBK saying that Deckard did in fact put him up to it. I heard it twice. This is just five things he's lied about. Tere are other things I've been told about but as of yet been unable to verify. Now you tell me this is an honorable man that has only the best in mind for this town. I say you're either blind or just as bad as he is by denying it. |
| Danny Stewart Thursday, September 1, 2011: 5:20 pm More from Danny Stewart | Here's something else. With all of his "supposed popularity", the question is begging to be asked why he would feel the need to lie about anything anyway? |
