| Bluecollar Tuesday, August 30, 2011: 1:21 pm More from Bluecollar | No need to fight about it... Fact is the stuff we are facing will lead us directly to what caused unions to be established in the first place. When we bail out the automakers again because you can't sell $40,000 cars to people who make $15/hour, then maybe everyone will realize that the working man who makes a decent wage pays a ton of taxes as well. Taxes used to build roads, bridges,.Pay for firemen and policemen etc... Ross Perot told us this would happen if we moved our good jobs out of the country. He was right. The baby boomers are drawing SS, we're fighting wars etc... and we keep eliminating good paying jobs. Who's gonna pay for everything? It won't be the middle class workers. They are nearly extinct. OH I KNOW! LET'S BORROW FROM CHINA! THEY MAKE EVERYTHING NOW ANYWAY |

The bailouts were of the unions, pure and simple. The preferred stock holders took it on the chin and lost big. That should make you happy. As for why the "good jobs" are going out of the country, look no further than leftist government policies. We are the highest taxed, most overly regulated market in the "free world". It costs less to manufacture in other countries because people like you want to "sock it to the 'rich'" through taxation and redistribution of wealth. |
| Bluecollar Tuesday, August 30, 2011: 3:20 pm More from Bluecollar | Ok, so cutting my wage in half helps balance the budget how exactly? Remember, when you cut my wage in half, you'll make my tax burden insignificant. And I certainly won't be buying ANYTHING new to stimulate the economy. I won't be able to. Look at both sides Dude. I would NEVER vote for Obama. But Obama didn't create this mess. He just added to it. Things are out of wack BAD in this country. For things to get better we're ALL gonna have to feel some pain. I'm waiting anxiously BTW, for you to tell me how cutting the few middle class peoples wages in half will pay down the debt from the war'S and balance the budget |

| Reality Check Tuesday, August 30, 2011: 8:41 pm More from Reality Check | Um, correct me if I am wrong but those who cheer the corporate takeover of American and $8/hour jobs with no benefits, must realize that these jobs are part of the reason those who make more are taxed more - to pay for the health care and entitlements of these wages. NAFTA was passed by Clinton but was championed by the GOP, leaders like Gingrich at the time, and was supposed to give us 100 years of economic boom. You can fight and argue and use mindnumbingly stupid terms like "liberal" and "left" but the only people pushing MORE policies like this are taxbreak and spend Republicans who have sold their souls to the TeaParty bandwagon. I hate paying taxes. But, I do enjoy having police and fire, trash serivce, and good schools. And of course, a really nice field I paid for, too. As long as those of who vote point fingers and play the political BS/spin against each other, the politicians who are RUINING our future win. And they are winning because Americans, in general, are stupid. Any questions? |
| Ratcatcher Tuesday, August 30, 2011: 9:14 pm More from Ratcatcher | I hate paying taxes too especially when my money is going to welfare and food stamps to deadbeats who REFUSE TO WORK AT THOSE $8 per hour jobs. And let's also not forget about the unmarried women who have 5 kids by 5 different dads who supposedly can't afford $16 per month for birth control pills but can always find the money to buy designer purses and have their hair and nails done regularly. I would call these folks stupid Americans but I think they are pretty smart to get us dumb taxpayers to give them a free ride for life. |

Yes. You are still here in this country because??? |
| Bluecollar Wednesday, August 31, 2011: 8:48 am More from Bluecollar | I don't wanna sock it to the rich. I know that If you hammer the rich, they will lay people off or move to where they can find slave labor. Just asking for some balance here. We are in a huge mess in this country. It's not going away because we are nice to the rich. If we continue to eliminate our tax base, we will continue to go broke... REGARDLESS of how much a ditch digger makes. REGARDLESS of how much an auto worker makes. We can only lower our budget so much because our whole infa-structure is falling apart!!!! You wanna pay everyone but yourself $10/hour. Who's gonna pay to fix all of our outdated bridges, Dams, sewer systems etc...????? Years ago it woulda been the auto workers tax money that payed for it!! NO, LETS BORROW FROM CHINA. They manufacture everything anyway |
