Why pay it, the special Prosecutor will drop anything filed anyway. They should call him the cleaner.

IF charges will be filed?!? Really? She stole the money, plain and simple. This was not a 'mistake'; this was embezzlement over a period of time, in the tens of thousands of dollars. Just because she is going to (supposedly) repay the money does not make her any less a thief - prosecute her...

Pray for Cathy and her family. Who knows why she, as a trusted employee for so many years, would do this. Her family has been through a lot but no excuses for her actions.

If I understand the information in this article. Mrs. Neal was not confronted until 3 months after the audit was conducted. And then, she was only asked why it was taking her an average of 62 days to make deposits. And now it is September and the County is asking her to repay the funds. She was employed by local attorneys, Washington Township Trustee and the city court. Sounds like there is more auditing to be done. I agree with previous comments, why was she not charged? Sounds like her county and city connections are pulling in favors. Yes, it is unfortunate, but embezzelment is a crime and charges should be filed on behalf of all citizens whose funds were mishandled or stolen.

I find this story to be hilarious!!!

Folks, you did it to yourselves. You want to ask why she wasn't charged. Why did you keep reelecting her husband all those years. How many other times has this happened and we just don't know about it?

As I said, I find it hilarious!!!!

Here's a thought. Why isn't her husband being investigated. You can't tell me he didn't know anything about it. Oh, wait. This is moragaan county were the good ole' boys do as they please and dare you to say something about it.

Personally, I don't blame them, I blame all of the incompetent voters here for their long and continuos stupidity. I wonder just how long you are going to be willing to continue to pay for your stupidity.

HILARIOUS!!!!

Scotty Manley gets upset that one member questioned his son doing the cleaning of the Washington Twp. Trustee's office and being put on the payroll. Yet the audit is completed but no mention of results. Yes family members continue to be employed. And his father is on the council too. Is his ex-wife, Missy Neal Collier Manley, still employed?
