Mrs. Neal was not confronted until 3 months after the audit was conducted. And then, she was only asked why it was taking her an average of 62 days to make deposits. And now it is September and the County is asking her to repay the funds. She was employed by local attorneys, Washington Township Trustee and the city court. Sounds like there is more auditing to be done. I agree with previous comments, why was she not charged? Sounds like her county and city connections are pulling in favors. Yes, it is unfortunate, but embezzelment is a crime and charges should be filed on behalf of all citizens whose funds were mishandled or stolen. |
