Looks like he killed Bambi to me. Big deal, kill a 40 pound deer. Do you have to publish disgusting pictures like this one?

Why does the paper print these pictures. Seems like the hunters want to be rewarded by having their pictures printed. Isn't it enough that you can frame and display your own pictures at home? Newspapers aren't for printing dead animals! Only in Martinsville!

I think it's more about the fact that this is a rare animal.

But to some people, it's more about something else they have found to complain about in life. I'm sure this isn't the first issue you have ever complained about nor will it be the last. Everyone has the right to free speech but you had the option of clicking the link to read the story, which clearly informs you an animal had been killed, and you still did it.

Last time I checked, the majority of people are meateaters. Thank God people still hunt. There are so many worse things to put in the paper anyway. Maybe those of you whom have a problem with hunting should move to one of the anti-gun, anti-hunting states or cities.

Personally I would rather see it dead from a hunter than see more auto/deer accidents with people hurt and the animal suffering until the police can put a bullet in it to stop its suffering. The articles stated this happens in area that are overpopulated. That tells me we are experiencing an overcrowded deer population and they need to be thinned out.

It is rare and now it is dead. I do not want to see it on the front page or any page of my daily newspaper. Publish it in Field and Stream or something if you must brag about it.

Well I didn't want to see a 14 year old boy being wheeled into a chopper, getting ready to fly to a hospital, because he was shot at school. Maybe the only news or pictures that should be shown are the ones that everyone deems satisfying. Then we could get rid of all the newspaper because everyone likes and dislikes the same thing. Turn the page or go to a different website. Just something to complain about right?

I mean for lords sake if you are gonna get on here and gripe about something at least read the article.
“The piebald deer comes from a recessive gene passed on when a deer herd is overpopulated and they interbreed.”
That means there are too many of them and the herd needs to be thinned......alot like some of the human population I am beginning to wonder about.
