I take you at face value that you are a proud Klan member. I also take at face value the judges, teacher, preachers, and police that are Klan members aren't as proud. They hide for a good reason. But that has been the way of the Klan over the span of three centuries. They hide in the dark because they and their cause are dark. Being proud is a sin. Satan's fall was because of pride, and he delights when we are proud, because he knows that the proud are full of themselve and not full of the creator of the Universe. Hate is a sin, and it is not hard to see hate in what the Klan represents. To hate is to commit murder. Most people who hate never commit the physical act of of murder, but they have committed murder in their hearts. As a professed "Christian" you must know that, because it is Biblical truth. But in fact, a Christian Klan member is an oxymoron. From what I read in your posts, you probably will have to look that word up, so to save you the trouble, an oxymoron simply means two incompatable discriptors. In other words there can be no such thing as a Christian (little Christ) Klan member. So don't try to whitewash (pun intended) the Klan with a cover of Christianity. Whatever form of Christianity that is being practiced by a Klan member is a perversion of the faith or a cult. When light (God's truth) shines on something as dark as the Klan, the exposure shows the true colors. There is still time for you. The Apostle Paul was a hater of Christians. Unlike the Klan, he did it openly and with sanction from the Sanhedrin and Pharisees of the day. Yet God used him and he has become the model God uses for the sinner who thinks God could never forgive him or her for the terrible things he or she has done. There is nothing to fear from anyone......anyone! Nothing can be taken from you of any eternal importance. God has planted each of us in this time and place for His purposes. I believe His purpose for you now is to use your anger and hate for anyone who doesn't have your color of skin to reveal His love for each one of us, even you. |
