The U$ has 5% of the world's population, yet has 25% of the world's incarcerated. If you don't think this is a pilfering of your tax dollar you better look again. Never before in the history of the world have so many been incarcerated for so little. Thanks for the opinion piece. Love John Whitehead. |
| Zapper Wednesday, November 23, 2011: 11:16 am More from Zapper | I agree with Ron Paul in the pursuit of true liberty, all drugs should be legalized. An individual who uses drugs has as much right to destroy there life and their familiy as an alcoholic, in fact I believe hard alcohol to be the most addictive and dangerous of drugs. Conservatives want to pick and choose which of our liberties to honor, i.e. Homeland Defense, no different than the Dems just different liberties discarded. |
| bob searcy Wednesday, November 23, 2011: 8:44 pm More from bob searcy | we have kidnapped your family member. ransom will be paid in many installments distributed to many beaurocracies. seriously, this whole process is sick and destructive. probationers will do hard drugs instead of maryjane cause their system is rid of it more quickly. health and rehabilitation isnt the objective. revenue is the driver.. the narc who killed the motorcyclist in indy was speeding , drunk i might add , to participate in a low level drug pusher apprehension.. everybody loses.. |
| bob searcy Wednesday, November 23, 2011: 8:58 pm More from bob searcy | well at least some progress is being made. 15 years ago the reporter would have butchered this story then printed it to make the author sound foolish. looking squarely at ya bette.. |
