I dont see much point in the story. How about focusing on some real news with an actual story. This has nothing, why not wait until the officer is identified?

Will there be any updates on this story or has it been swept under the rug?

It is the right thing to do to bring in an outside investigator for something like this. My question is, why has this made the news at this point? Not newsworthy that someone is being investigated. If it were, the paper would have to add a page or two (or bring back the old paper size).
