| Just a Peasant Thursday, December 8, 2011: 4:56 pm More from Just a Peasant | Where is the Rural-Metro ambulance in Mooresville? Does not Brown Twp EMS cover that area or is there something that we do not know about yet? |
| Hugh Jorgan Thursday, December 8, 2011: 9:10 pm More from Hugh Jorgan | A little bird told me that the Green Twp Rural Metro truck is often sent to Jennings County (North Vernon) to do transfers from that hospital. |
| BeenThereDoneThat Thursday, December 8, 2011: 10:25 pm More from BeenThereDoneThat | A whole $20,000 for ambulance coverage per township huh? Do the math on trying to fund and staff a 24/7 EMS crew and you will find that is horribly underfunded, sad. |
| Spanky Friday, December 9, 2011: 8:45 am More from Spanky | I'm having a hard time understanding why Rural Metro would expect Martinsville to surrender one of their contractually guaranteed ambulances? Hey, Mr. Gillespie, your company made the agreement...now hold up your end of the bargain! |
| FEDUPFF Saturday, December 10, 2011: 12:22 am More from FEDUPFF | Mr.Bische first off educate yourself. The two RM crews scheduled did not request vacation they wanted to work the holidays to get holiday pay, but was made to take vacation!! Mr. Gilliespie, your company does NOT dedicate the Martinsville trucks. They do nursing home contracts and hospital transfers all the time. And the fact that you state m151 is in Morgan County 95% of the time is a FAT LIE look at the logs your crew keeps of their daily activity. Recently several times M151 has been shut down to operate M143 in Mooresville. Its also in your contract and dispatch guidelines that you mutually agreed to with Chief Mooney that your trucks will only post at Mooresville, Martinsville and occaisionally Johnson County. Rural Metro is like the TITANIC and the only people that are going to suffer are the underpaid employees and patients. So sad private EMS cares about one thing MONEY! |
