Mr. Scalf,

You are upset with either Mooresville, or Morgan County. With that in mind why don't you move somewhere that you would like. No one will miss you!

Now why is it that when someone has a diagreement with anything our local governments do, someone has to want to tell them to move? It's a rather childish comment.

SB and Confused:
If Mr. Scalf were to roll over and let this slide or pack up and move you two would just resort to calling him a quitter and a wimp, etc. Face it... He can't do right in your eyes no matter what he does. I agree with Danny, you guys are worse than Junior High kids.

Mr. Scalf states in his letter that the "state computor program" takes into consideration all the required state and federal laws for the creation of the new voting districts. This is NOT true. There is no little guy inside there saying this is okay or not okay and will not pass muster. The program ONLY gives you information about areas in relationship to where boundry lines have been selected. You can draw lines where ever you wish and it will give you information relative to that area.

I wonder if Mr. Scalf would want to go under oath to answer why he fabricated that I went to the Clerk's Office to get addresses of incumbents or find out which side of the road they lived on.
If Mr. Scalf did not fabricate this statement and the Clerk's office actually told him that I inquired about incumbents addresses then the Clerk's Office out and out LIED.

Maybe the Clerk's Office would go under oath.

The Commissioners have met Coach Wooden's test of being prepared and being honest.

It is time for Grumpy Old Voyles to go off and sleep through another meeting. He collects a salary for sleeping through meetings. I wonder how much his salary works out to per snore?

To ConfusedAgain- you say no one would miss Mr. Scalf? Well, I know of several people who would miss him. Maybe it's you they wouldn't miss. Why don't you move?? Mr. Scalf is only looking out for the residents of Morgan County, which I am glad he does. Someone needs to as some of our political people don't.

We need new people in office and I hope when the time comes we can get new ones in and they will be honest officers. It starts at the bottom and goes all the way up to the top that there is so much corruption. Let's clean house.
As for Mr. Scalf be glad he is concerned about what is going on in Morgan County. He's not sleeping on the job and letting things go his way, he's for the people. Yeah! Keep it up, Mr. Scalf, I'm proud of you.

IMO if somebody will lie then an oath will probably not change them. Still would be he said she said.

I'll just say this. It's Mr. Voyles that is not being honest here. And that is not simply he said she said.

Perhaps the inquiry occurred in the Sadler Room or the Election office or in the hall outside the bathrooms, but I would bet money it happened somewhere inside that building. Just because Mr. Scalf might've gotten the room number wrong doesn't mean Voyles is telling the WHOLE truth. And I would take Mrs. Mayfield's word over all three of the commissioners any day of the week.
