wow!! don't they have someone overseeing safety there. from the description of conditions, i would think that legal charges would be a strong possibility. criminal negligence without a doubt!! accidents happen but this was no accident.

"Right to work" legislation will turn "most" places into this. Places like this are exactly why unions were formed in the 1st place.

If everything in this article is the truth, then I'm sure more than one person would have been killed at Twigg Corp. over the years. I can't believe that working at Twigg could be anymore dangerous than driving on Hwy. 37 or Hwy 67 any day of the week in Morgan county!

If I'm not mistaken IOSHA is mostly funded by the fines they levy now aren't they? If they are then IMO that puts a serious conflict of interest into these large figures thrown around here.

Obviously TWIGG was in some serious violations, but $366K in these economic times could possibly put them out of business. Do we want that to happen to all the other employees because of this now, or let them correct the violations and continue to work?
