He said the bill is necessary to end problems with local officials who have a self-interest in their decisions. Problem is, all local office officials have a self-interest in their decisions. Not only local, but state and federal as well. The joke about Morgan County being a police state is no joke. Why are we afraid of democracy,” Pierce said. “We don’t even trust our voters to decide who should represent them.” Maybe because not a one of you truly have the voter's best interests in mind. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

Wowwee! Anyone else find it hilarious that Foley only has the gonads to make such snide comments when he isn't seeking re election? Gutless wonder. Good riddance.

Wonder if that means that his son can no longer be the County Attorney?? The other son is employed by the County. I think 1 Foley is enough.

Better question, will "good ole" Kenny Hale get to continue with his 3 County pay checks?

Confused Again I bet good old Kenny Hale will find a way around this bill if it passes and be comes law in Jan. 2013 I get so tired every day good old Kenny's name is in the paper where he did this or that for the good of all the people in the county. Good old Kenny gets his name in the paper more than the any other county employee he earns his three checks for just using his name.
