LilaMae,

I agree with you 100%. Enough of the handouts, baby mommas and daddys. Time for them to face life straight on. Get on their own two feet, stop expecting handouts. and become productive taxpayers themselves.
I understand that sometimes a helping hand is required, and I'm all for it. But, getting help without truly trying to help yourself is draining this country dry, along with our greedy corporate government. But that's another story.
I saw on the news where a woman with 15 kids and 3 different fathers, actually said she wanted someone, besides herself, to pay for her children' upkeep and shelter. This sort of thing is (expected) way too much.
As far as our lawmakers go, their decisions as of late make me wonder. I think they too should be tested. Not only because of how their decisions affect us all, but because I must take random tests.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

“This is one of the most ill thought out pieces of legislation I have ever run across,” Crawford said. “I’m at a loss to understand.”

I agree totally. So, the State government is going to adminster this testing program? I'll wager that the cost of administering this program will exceed the actual welfare benefit.

I bet you are right on the cost. And would not be suprised if testing companies lobbied for the bill.

If we take the money away from a drug using parent what little they did spend on their children might turn into nothing.

Mr. Mayor,

Only.. If Lincoln Street goes all the way to Bucktown and back! And, if you found a Secret "Passage To Bucktown" then you become mandatory status! "Were on the train to Bucktown aboard The Bucktown Express. We'll hit the stops along the way. We Only stop if were under arrest!"
(Song by a famous Canadian)
