I gotta agree with Greg. The entire teachers body needs to be held accountable for this. If it went on as long as is being indicated why didn't someone step up to protect our kids?

If the kids knew about it then surely someone in that damn building knew it was happening. And BTDEL64 you forgot the female teacher and the student ( which she just got smacked on the hand) Go ARTESIANS

This story is just mind boggling. I too heard this story from my child last summer. But knowing Coach Wolf, I just couldn't believe it was true. A 65 year old man with a 17 year old girl is just disgusting. I realize you are innocent until proven guilty, but seems to me he was proven guilty when he was arrested. How many teachers were aware of this situation at the high school? Wolf needs to be fired, and anyone else who was aware of what was going on should go too. Once again Martinsville is in the news with an embarrassing story. Sad to say when people ask me where I am from, there are times I won't tell them Martinsville. I feel so bad for his family, students and friends.

Another story has circulated about an administrator caught in the act, as well. Widely told, well known, everyone aware, but no one wants to ruffle feathers or risk not getting their teaching contract renewed, so everyone keeps quiet. I hate to say it, but ole Liberty maybe wasn't too far off, huh?

The announcement was just made that Mr. Wolf will retire immediately. Please call the superintendants office demanding he be FIRED and not Rewarded for his actions. That office number is 765-342-6641. Currently the answering machine is picking up, but I am sure there will be someone available first thing in the morning! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

this has been going around for a long time and obviously once again our school officials have failed our kids again and the city is back in the media. School shooting, a drunk superintendent, and now this. All to protetc their own BS! Take your blinders off and look around, enough is enough. Start from the top down to the athletic directors! They are the most immoral people and they are teaching our kids, from adultery to alcohol. Its ok for these coaches and athletic directors to do so, because the admins turn their heads. Now watch the good ole boy sympathizers jump to their side! School Board Members do the right thing, its what you were voted in for! Not the clique at the admins office!

realinsight! you are so right! A student was kicked out of school for "too much school spirit!" during football season! A player kicked off the team for wanting to miss 1 practice for a baseball showcase...these are facts! An aid who still works at the school who slapped a girl for dialing 911 because a student was choking (and died) years ago...Students kicked out for "normal teenage behavior", and we will be paying for this pervert's retirement, and full Health Benefits! We are supporting Mr.Furniss, Heacock, Racy, Woody, and Alkire? Do we have no say! The Board members are to blame also. They have known about this, the police department monitors the student Hot line, they ask our over paid admin., and once again nothing!!!!

" I heard it from my kids...." All of you who have heard the rumors from your children and who have known about it for "years," shame on you! Teachers and admins who have known about it for years, shame on you! Students who have known about it for years, shame on you too!!! Report, report, report, report again... to the LAW. You who knew or suspected should have reported. You are responsible for not helping as well! Take part of the blame. Lastly TIM WOLF shame on you. Martinsville is a great town! Don't blame everyone for bad apples. Every town has them. It's time for parents and citizens to stand up and report abuse!
