I don't have problems with Mr. Davis, however, in light of all a lot of current events sometimes hiring "new blood" or someone from outside helps. But this goes along with what a lot of people are saying about Martinsville, it is the "good ole boy club".

I think this is a wise choice. I do not have issues with Chief Jon Davis. I know Darrell and know that he has a very different leadership style than Jon. I think everyone will be well pleased. Good luck Chief Darrell Davis I know you will do a great job. Darrell is not more of the same, and certainly not one of the "good ole boys".

If you don't agree, fine that is your opinion. I would suggest you read the entire post. "Darrell is not more of the same, and certainly not one of the "good ole boys"." If you don't know him I would suggest you give him a chance. I'll bet you will be satisfied.
