This is so sad and tragic.
How many times do you see kids riding on the roads? Indiana Code 14-16-1-20(5C) states you must have a valid motor vehicle driver's license to operate an ORV on a public road.
If anything good could come out of this would be for other parents to keep their kids safe and off the roads.

These atv's and 4 wheelers are killing and crippling kids all the time. I won't push for any laws against them or the riders because Lord knows we are losing our freedom more every day. I will say my kids will not have one. These things are as dangerous as cars and trucks, and we turn kids loose on them? My heart goes out to the family for their loss. I can't imagine what they must be going through. Hopefully going forward, people will not view these things as toys.
