No sympathy here - except for the innocent dogs that died. I'm sure their owners were aware of the humane society. True, the economy is bad and alot of people can't afford to feed their pets but that is no excuse. Take these cruel people kicking and stomping all the way to jail.

I read this article in the paper Sunday, and it made my stomach turn. Thank God the neighbor called the humane society and kept the third dog from starving to death. This couple was moving out of their home because they had not paid the rent. They had left the dogs without food and water for about a week and a half outside and allowed them to die, but didn't have time to bury them. And then they had two more dogs inside the home which was filthy. And they have a new infant son. I hope DCS monitors them closely so that little boy is taken care of properly. Just heartbreaking that people like this who can't even take care of themselves have animals and a child.
