Their daughter is now an orphan. The mother is dead and the father just as well be. I have been through two divorces involving children. You have to focus on what is best for the children, not your bent egos. If you believe in God, turn it over to him...then stick around and see what happens. Be a loving parent to your child, not a murderer. Had Addam truly loved Melissa, he should have married her in the first place. I pray that God will have mercy on Addam and protect the child who now has to face a world without guiding parents. Ron Dodd |
| Outta Here Wednesday, July 11, 2012: 2:22 pm More from Outta Here | The child will not have guiding parents but she will have her mother's parents and her uncles (as well as the rest of the family) who will move heaven and earth to make sure she is cared for and loved morethan words could express. She will always be reminded of her mother and how much she was loved by her. This little girl will be with the next best thing to her mother.... Her grandparents who can share stories and make sure Melissa is always in her heart!!!! This is such a horrible senseless tragedy. Let's just remember that the child has loss more than any of us could image. Thank the Lord above Melissa's family and friends will always be there for this little girl. |
| jon Wednesday, July 11, 2012: 10:37 pm More from jon | I'm sure I will catch a lot of criticism for this but its the way I feel.....in situations like this I agree with the death penalty....this was a premeditated, violent, disgusting crime and I don't see where my tax dollars should pay for his food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare (which is without comparison to what I have). People like him don't deserve those luxuries. If not put to death, give him a 3 X 5 cell with no window, no light, and no running water. Even that will be better than what he gave his childs mother. |
