| Moose 65 Thursday, July 12, 2012: 2:14 pm More from Moose 65 | This place for the meeting will surely keep most people in the hallway and outside. Maybe it should be moved to a bigger building. Your trying (?) to be fair for all but you will just anger more people. |
| jdigger Thursday, July 12, 2012: 4:48 pm More from jdigger | I will have to agree the time is bad for those who work days or nighy shift, kinda how the school board does. |
| outsider Thursday, July 12, 2012: 8:12 pm More from outsider | Have some questions in regards to the quickly called meeting on Friday the 13th at 11:00 a.m. First, who called the meeting, the Mayor, the Council? Why was the meeting called for so quickly without allowing citizens to alter their work day to attend? Is this another smoke screen meeting to push the annexation through or a rational meeting to adjust the proposed annex? Seems like not enough time was allowed for any citizen to attend? I hope the answers are provided for before tomorrow, and I am sure every citizen that can will attend the meeting. |
| Hugh Jorgan Thursday, July 12, 2012: 10:54 pm More from Hugh Jorgan | I thought they had to give at least 48 hours notice in order to have a public meeting. |
| outsider Friday, July 13, 2012: 8:11 am More from outsider | They do give a 48 hour notice to the paper normally after print time so it gives the public a 24 hour notice. I personally call it good sneaky politics it is legal, but still doesn't make it moral and upstanding. |
