So they are not going to MAKE us hook up to sewer but they are still going to raise our taxes. Yup....they just need more money from us, money we don't have!

I suggest that we all look at moving out of this area to a better location and let them dig a hole on how to pay anyone. Of course there are some that couldn't afford to move or want to move. Of course there would be people coming to take your place and be the new sucker. Or sell it to Mexicans, they don't have any money to pay the bills. Or if you can, do it, destroy your home leave it for the city to clean up you can always go where they would never find you. OR just stay and fight with your organization to shut it down and shove it back at them and hope we don't have a judge that would agree with the city. Is there such a thing as kick backs any more ?

Short sighted, vision-less attitudes have been and will be the death of Martinsville. People in Noblesville fought annexation 25+ years ago when I lived there. Look at Noblesville today. God forbid the City have a little long term planning in place to try to capitalize on the new interstate.

Yup. It's short sighted to try to protect my property rights from ever growing, more oppressive government. Thanks for straightening that out for me.

SHORT SIGHTED- If being annexed worked so well for Noblesville, why are you living here? We are a small town, we will always be a small town, all the mayor wants is our money , PLAIN AND SIMPLE,I'm sick of hearing about I 69, people are not going to stop here, when your on vacation do you stop at the little burgs or big cities where there's places to eat and things to . THEY can annex the whole county still won't be anything to do here, we need new city goverment that knows what their doing, and not try to make washinton township pay for their money mistakes, we did'nt make the mess , so why should we have to fix it
