JUST OUT LAW EVIL!!! Then guns would be safe. Airplanes will be safe. No threat of chemical attacks. No need to worry about protecting yourself. But these anti-gun people have personal bodyguards, who carry the guns for them. The poor will be left to fend for our self, like always!!!!

Its pretty common knowledge if you have a brain, guns don't expel bullets by their own free will. I know its hard to believe but still quite true. If you have an unprotected household and live outside of city limits for more than a ten minute drive, I believe it safe to say if the bad guy has the gun and the innocent victim does not, evil I.e. bad guy will prevail. Folks you can't fix stupid but you sure can call it out! Wow!

Good thing we didn't have gun control when the British invaded us 200+ years ago. Lets also remember that the 2nd amendment was a big deterent for Japan to launch an invasion against us during the World War.

I truly believe the R-T sometimes intentionally publishes non-sensical, controversial op-eds, this time from an unidentified source, just to stir up the locals.

This author's stance on gun control is like fancy French undergarments...there ain't much there and, what there is, is full of holes.

I am so sick of people just blindly letting our rights be taken from us. I personally do not own a gun but common sense tells me if we outlaw guns only outlaws will own them.

Look this up...Gun sales were already at an all time high before the shooting in Aurora, Colorado......gun sales doubled in the week after the shooting and there was at least a 5 point up tick in major polls AGAINST GUN CONTROL.
The facts and reports show that this probably was a stage event, just like Fast & Furious, to attack the second amendment...looks like it is backfiring for "them".
