The days of township government are coming to an end. What do we need a City and busniness or a
township to grow. We need to grow or the city is
going to be a ghost town, soon.

Bob Bolin is an idiot. Kim Meredith is a good person and needs to quit listening to Bolin before he leads her down the wrong path. Bolin is a radical trying to make a name for himself. He has accomplished that IDIOT. Merger would be great and I hope that is completed soon.

What is a fact is that Kim Meredith's property on Blue Bluff was included in the annexation on the 2009 map; but the map submitted in 2012 the line went "conveniently" right around her property. Coincidence? I think not...this is fact...look it up. I have a copy of the 2009 map.
There is a lot of "back scratching" going on between all the different members of the city, county and township governments. They all need voted out with new people that don't know each other or aren't related to each other.

The annexation issue aside, township govenment needs to be given a page in the history book for doing a great job in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Then we need to retire them. This issue has been studied and studied. These units of govenment have become fifedoms of inefficiency, inconsistency, and, in some cases corruption. Most of the township trustees do not perform their statutory duties now...they pick and choose.

This is one case (not to be taken as an overall endorsement of big government)where the taxpayers will save money with consolidation.
