Candidates dispute clean campaign pledge

At this point Mayfield is supported by the State GOP but is considered an "enemy" of the local GOP. Welch put up her resistance after I made the statement you referred to so she now has full support of the local democrat party but is shunned by the state party. makes for what I think are 2 good candidates. |
| Ratcatcher Monday, September 10, 2012: 12:00 pm More from Ratcatcher | First of all it's more than just a theory to many of us, my dear Sunny. Secondly I can't answer your hypothetical question because I can't imagine that scenario playing out. Mayfield has an excellent public service record and nothing to hide unlike her opponent. Mayfield has no reason to ask Welch to sign such a document. I like all my eggs scrambled with a little onion and garlic. |
| Sunny Monday, September 10, 2012: 12:45 pm More from Sunny | Ratcatcher, Stop bouncing around the table like one tracked mind liberals and conservatives do when they are loosing a debate or are faced with uncomfortable questioning!! It's not whether or not Mayfield would have such a reason to ask Welch to sign such a document! I am addressing YOUR BIAS TOWARD YOUR CHOICE CANDIDATE. Hypothetical or not it is a fair question for me to ask you!! AND by your unwillingness to answer such a simple "scenario", speaks for itself. What is good for the goose is good for the gander! A person can be a Republican and vote for whomever they want!! KNOCK OFF THE PARTISAN CRAP!! |

| Ratcatcher Monday, September 10, 2012: 2:15 pm More from Ratcatcher | Whoa there, Sunshine! Lighten up! I'm not losing a debate nor am I being ansked to answer an uncomfortable question. You have tried before (unsuccessfully) to paint me as a partisan, straight ticket voting Republican. Shall we go down that trail again? I have told you in the past I have voted for both parties and I will continue to do so because I vote for the person. In this case I choose to support the person that happens to be a Republican. After Mrs. Mayfield is elected if she and a bunch of other Republicans run off and hide in an out of state hotel to avoid a vote then the two of us can discuss it on here along with other egg recipes if you like. I have never cared or asked what your political leanings are but now I think it is time that you fess up and have the courage to tell us all who you support in the various races this election cycle and why. |
| Sunny Monday, September 10, 2012: 2:58 pm More from Sunny | (sighs) Ratcatcher Again....would you be just as critical and give the same political analysis if Mayfield asked Welch to sign such a pledge... Doing so would only be right. YES OR NO? There is only two choices here. The other partisan crap I was referring to was you saying.."you say your a Republican I don't believe you" |
| Sunny Monday, September 10, 2012: 3:22 pm More from Sunny | Okay Welch: Because she is a conservative that supports a string middle class and will repeal "right to freeload" when the opportunity presents itself. The same for John Gregg. Why he picked Vi Simpson as his running mate I'll never figure out. Romney: That one's obvious I have yet to make my choice between Donnelly and Mourdoch. They both have said things I don't care for. Rokita: I've read literature not impressed with the Dem or Lib . Satisfied? Now Yes or No?? |
| Sunny Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 4:39 am More from Sunny | Ratcatcher, Well, you're obviously not going to answer...so the prosecution rests your honor! The silence speaks for your bias. I asked a "Hypothetical question" to YOUR hypothetical theory. I could offer up hypothetical theories as to why Mrs. Mayfield WON'T sign it! Oh well, no since worrying about the signing of a pledge between the two candidates when they each have supporters negatively campaigning for them. |

That about sums it up in a sentence. |
| Ratcatcher Wednesday, September 12, 2012: 7:45 am More from Ratcatcher | Sunshine, Please accept my most sincere apology for not immediately getting right back to you regarding your recent query. I hope you can understand that I work a full time job, take care of family and spend what little free time I have trying to save our country by campaigning for candidates I feel will make a difference. In a nutshell I am quite busy and arguing with people on here is not on my top 3 list of things to do right now. Maybe after the election or after I hit the lottery and can afford to retire early I will be more available for public bantering with you and others. 1. For the second time it is not a political THEORY about the pledge signing. I am heavily involved in many campaigns and KNOW this to be a ploy. If you and other average citizen/voter falls for it that is not my problem. I can only do my best to educate you. 2. It is not "partisan crap" to say to the author of a letter to the editor that I do not believe his/her assertion that he/she belongs to a particular party. This is another ploy to get votes. The writer claims to be of one party in order to gain credibility with readers when she tells them she is voting for a person from the other party. I want proof. Let the county chairman testify as to this person's voting record and then we might have a discussion on our hands. This latest tactic by Welch and her supporters is almost as sad as the pledge signing one. Bottome line: Welch cannot run on her record of supporting emminent domain by government and running off to avoid doing her job. What does she have left for this election? Political tricks straight out of the Obama playbook. Our president can't run on his record so he instead goes after his opponent on imaginary issues and lies. This pledge signing is an imaginary issue. Yesterday I received another mailing from the Mayfield campaign. Not one mention of Welch in it, good or bad. Actions speak louder than words. Mayfield doesn't have to sign a meaningless pledge in order to run a clean campaign because SHE IS ALREADY DOING IT. |
| Sunny Wednesday, September 12, 2012: 4:50 pm More from Sunny | Your theory is also an imaginary!!!!!!!!!!! It's an opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T PROVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! As I side I can conjure up my own theories on Mayfield if I wanted to just as you have toward Welch! So with the yes or no question.... You bounce again. Yes, it's partisan crap when you demonize a person for not being a true "Something" for not falling lockstep in line with a party's platform or candidate. County chairman...testify to the person's voting record?????? So much for secret ballot! Mayfield maybe running a clean campaign.. THAT IS NOT THE QUESTION THAT I ASKED YOU!!!!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY!!! You won't do it...you just won't HA! I love it when you guys go off on side track bunny trails to divert attention away from the question, then when you are done speaking you forget what the question was. Unbelievable! |
| Sunny Wednesday, September 12, 2012: 5:02 pm More from Sunny | Wheh...please forgive the auto-correct spelling errors from my phone. |
