I'm sure that if Peggy Mayfield saw you out and you came up to speak to her she would have talked to you. From what I've seen and heard Peggy Mayfield is out going door to door and has been involved in several events in the community so that people have a chance to meet her and listen to what she has to offer District 60.

Several times at events all I've seen from Peggy Welch is a cardboard cut out of her and it's hard talking to cardboard and expecting to get a response.

I agree wholeheartedly with the author of this letter to the editor. Peggy Welch has a proven track record and she does care a great deal about real people, and real issues. Not just at election time, but 24/7.

Peggy Welch gets my vote, without a doubt.

Welch might as well put that cardboard cut-out of herself up on the tractor seat in the next parade. You certainly can't talk to the real Welch when she is riding high above the crowd in the middle of the street either. At least Mayfield walks the parades and talks to people at eye level.

Ratcatcher so very true. Peggy Mayfield and her group have walked all the parades and Peggy Welch has rode on her red tractor not having a chance to speak with anyone.

And in all fairness I would remind everyone that Rod Bray walked in the last two parades I saw while Cahill rode in the back of that convertible sports car. I guess he didn't want to get his mullet sweaty.
