County to sue resident over equipment stored on land
read more recent story comments Reader comments| MarkMcDaniel Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 11:12 am More from MarkMcDaniel | It is a shame that the County Plan commission would choose to use our tax dollars to file suit on behalf of someone who has resided in Morgan County for 60 days. Shouldn't he have noticed his next door neighbors place before he bought? Obviously he purchase here with all intentions of the rest of us picking up the tab for his property improvement. Why doesn't he spend his own money to sue his neighbor if he has been harmed? Hopefully the County Commissioners can put a stop to this kind of frivolous venture. |

| jimenicholls2 Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 1:49 pm More from jimenicholls2 | The heavy hand of government. So, you need a license to be a farmer now?! What is this, North Korea?! |
| jimenicholls2 Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 1:49 pm More from jimenicholls2 | How about we vote the county guys out, too. They seem to be overstepping their boundaries as much, if not more, than the city council! |
| jimenicholls2 Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 1:53 pm More from jimenicholls2 | More info about sinister plot behind "forced annexation" in Indiana....A few weeks ago a good guy, conservative, named Ted Cruz won his primary US Senate race in Texas. This is/was good news; but I find it refreshing that he is also very outspoken against UN Agenda 21. http://www.kens5.com/home/UN-Backed-Agenda-21-Angers-Many-in-Texas-167676765.html This is what Ted Cruz said on the Glen Beck radio show (I say BINGO!, he hit the nail on the head!, and his first quote has "martinsville forced annexation" written all over it!): “It’s ostensibly to promote sustainable development and it manifests at the local level in all sorts of initiatives that seek to undermine property rights and undermine our economic liberty,” Cruz said on Glenn Beck’s radio show in January. He added later in the program, “More broadly, it’s about putting the tentacles of the United Nations into the very foundations of our government throughout this nation.” Also, the republican party looks to have actually included anti-agenda 21 language in their party platform. I say, BINGO!, again! “We strongly reject the U.N. Agenda 21 as erosive of American sovereignty, and we oppose any form of U.N. Global Tax,” the platform reads. http://green.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/29/republican-platform-opposes-agenda-21/ This is good news, too. I think most people think/thought this stuff is a conspiracy theory. It is definitely a "conspiracy", but not a theory. Some of you even might have thought I was nuts talking about this. I discovered, several months ago, what I believe to be a local Agenda 21 initiative via the Martinsville forced annexation. The law firm assisting the forced Martinsville Annexation is Ice Miller, LLC; and their website has all of the UN Agenda 21 key words, terms, and tricky phrases...http://www.icemiller.com/our-commitment-to-the-environment.aspx At Ice Miller LLP, we believe that we are all impacted by the potential environmental consequences of global climate change (A verified hoax and an Agenda 21 term and justification for global warming agenda), and we realize that a commitment to going green means more than energy efficiency or reducing our carbon footprint (Agenda 21 term and justification for global carbon tax). For Ice Miller and our clients, it means reducing the cost of doing business by making energy management, sustainable development (Agenda 21 term that actually means the taking of property rights and liberty) and a healthy work environment a critical part of our business plans. We recognize the potential of clean technology and making decisions that are both socially responsible (Agenda 21 term, taking away God as sovereign of morality) and commercially sound. Ice Miller is committed to a sustainable future (Agenda 21 term) and to improving the social, environmental and economic well being (Agenda 21 terms) of the communities we serve. You can find all of the highlighted terms right on the UN's own website for Agenda 21, here: http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/res_agenda21_00.shtml A sitting IN Senator (since the 1970's) has independently verified that forced annexation is, IN FACT, a UN Agenda 21 tool used in Indiana. Most government officials, at every level, are either dupes (useful idiots) to this agenda, or they are "in the club" and they are doing it willingly (foolishly and/or devilishly). Forward this to everyone you know, in this state and others. As long was the "forced annexation" law is on the books in Indiana, NONE OF US ARE SAFE from this SCAM. Jim God, Family, Country |
| LilaMae Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 6:59 pm More from LilaMae | Bottom line what does Mr Allison own that the county is hoping to gain from. With Kenny Hale involved there is a motive for gain with no regard for the individual or their situation. I guess farmers haven't had it bad enough this year! |
| Hugh Jorgan Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 9:46 pm More from Hugh Jorgan | Is this the same guy that got a million dollar grant from the feds for a fire station in the smallest township in the state where only 5 or 6 volunteers show up for runs where 90% are medical runs?? By the way, federal money is NOT free money. |
| bob searcy Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 10:06 pm More from bob searcy | these arent the days of leave it to beaver. moneys short and times are hard and i hope half the county govts heads end up on pikes. i dont mean to sound mean or threatening, im sayin people are doing thing that were previously unheard of in order to survive. our wages are cut, were in multiple wars, we have no benefits, im sayin these are different times. govt needs to back off.. @ kenny hale; cut steel in a junkyard for 5 bucks an hour for a few days then get back with me.. do a contracting job for laughable wages. now try to get paid. see what im gettin at yet? hard times. |
| Lassiter Tuesday, September 11, 2012: 11:37 pm More from Lassiter | Hale said he could not find a “contracting license” for Allison. He said there is no farm identification number for the property. Identification number for farm property? A license necessary to sign a contract? At least 2 of 3 of our county commissioners have farms. I wonder if they know the identification number of their properties? Or if they even have one? This just ain't right |
| jimenicholls2 Wednesday, September 12, 2012: 9:07 am More from jimenicholls2 | http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/sep/6/atfs-latest-gun-grab/ This article focuses on guns; but it applies here, too. Gov't at all levels is becoming too powerful and restrictive. WE NEED TO VOTE THESE CORRUPT CONTROL FREAKS OUT! |
