The politics of it all is the ugly part. The dems left as a political strategy over important issues to them. I don't like it and I think it was folly, but it doesn't rise to the level of importance that some are making it. Tune in MSNBC and FOX. Just listen and watch. There's very little news and less substance. It is non-stop propaganda, not too cleverly designed to turn minds, not by championing the attributes of the party they support, but by unceasing bombardments casting the opposition as inept, misguided, outrageously evil, unpatriotic, out of touch....on and on. They have taken the news media to an all time low. Each side picks on the tiniest of mis-steps, gaffs, and mistakes, blowing them out of proportion. I wonder what a new citizen of our country thinks tuning in those channels, seeking a reporting of the day's events. It isn't news, it is carefully scripted editorial. |
