Great generals don't bash their troops before battle. Tony Bennett has taken every opportunity of the pulpit to demonize and mock Hoosier educators.

The troops aren't fighting for this leader.

Republicans beware of this big government, big federal mandate snake oil salesman.

From what I have heard about Mr. Tony Bennett is that he is constantly having the school kids take tests, which aren't necessary and it's costing the taxpayers thousands of dollars. If this is true, then I wish someone would explain to me why the kids are having to take so many tests. Is it making them any smarter? I doubt it. When I was in school if a student had a problem with some subject then that teacher stayed after school to help them. Now, when that school bell rings for dismissal the teacher is out the door before the student. No wonder kids are having so many problems with their school work the teachers won't take time to help them. And, why are the students having so much homework and it's keeping them up untill midnight or later? I talked to a grandmother and she said her granddaughter is having to stay up untill 1:00 and 2:00 am to get their homework finished. I think 7 hours a day in school is enough. When they get out of school for the day they should be able to do their own thing.
