Sen. Tim Lanane has spoken the truth. Electing Ms. Ritz is a public mandate to overhaul the Mitchie public education fiasco. (May the good Lord reach down and help Purdue)..If the Republican controlled bodies in the Golden Citadel ignore the voice of the people it will do nothing but prove how out of touch they are with us. It is over the top WRONG that we bat about the education of our children as a political football and let them be dumbed down by unionized government employees.
Every one of the dozens of home schooled children I know are significantly more mature, better spoken and informed than just about every other kid of the same age that I know...including my kids that go to a high end Christian School.
Do you all not see the same thing?
50+ years of institutionalized, communistic schooling (brainwashing) is what caused the events of the presidential election on Tuesday. Obviously, from a conservative, Christian, Biblical view, it's not working.

Educate yourselves on the true mission of the federal education system that deceives you into believing it is a "local" education system.
Watch at least the first video of Charlotte Iserbyt, the former #2 at the Dept of Education. Who are the "change agents" in the Martinsville Schools?! Huh??!!
