WAY TO GO STEPHANIE! Please let this be a reminder to Kivett that people DONT forget how youve treated the public in the past. It shows that things DO come back and haunt folks! And to her also; give it up!

I hope the Reporter-Times includes a couple of incidents that happened at the caucus in it's full length story. I thought interrupting Stephanie several times during her opening speech was more than rude on Mr. Weaver's part. Clearly he was trying to rattle her into making a mistake in order to help Kivett win. But that girl has nerves of steel and pressed on. I was particularly amused by the parting shot he fired on the outgoing clerk (who was named Clerk of the Year and is now our District 60 Rep much to Col. Klink's dismay.) Somebody please explain to me why the members of the county GOP continue to allow this man to embarass them all the way to the statehouse.

This proves that the court house employees don't respect the laws nor do the Republicans respect the laws the government officials they put into office put into place. There are anti nepotism laws put into place by their chosen governor Mitch Daniels, and Stephanie and her husband are both county or government employees and so are the Kivetts. This is a family owed business and why there will never be justice in the court house. Furthermore with all the years Stephanie Elliot has spent in the clerks office no county employee caught the mistake made on the ballot that was also over saw by Matt Hanson. None of them can seem to get these things correct. I put my name in because neither Stephanie or Kivett qualified under the anti nepotism laws.

The current election years ballot contained a mistake having us vote for two Congressional district House Representatives, when we only have one that serves us or any one district. Six years in office and Peggy Mayfield missed that and was sent to the House of Representatives for the state of Indiana.

Ms. Allen,
You got ZERO votes last night. You also didn't fair well when you ran for Todd Rokita's job. Perhaps you should take the hint and find something else to occupy your time besides politics.

Mr. Ratcatcher, perhaps the current politicians have not adversely caused you harm or ignored your constitutional rights. Political statements should be made without repercussion, since we went to war against Hitler for doing those things as have been done to me by the current political officials and party representatives.

By the way, I didn't show up with a speech, because I was told it was a vote, not a place to stand up and show my talents as a speech writer. Perhaps if those points of view had been vocalized during the vote, it might have not been a zero vote, morons.

The travesty is that Mayfield was named clerk of the year. What a mistake. She couldn't even get the ballot correct, and her current office staff are equally as non intelligent. Thankfully for them it was not a battle of wits or of the most intelligent winning.

Ms. Allen, do you not get that Morgan County is in two congressional districts? That's why you see two congressional candidates on the election summary for the entire county. And it is an election summary, not a ballot.

Amazing that anyone would want to continue with the Kivetts unless they are profiting from the constant re election by the unlawfulness of the family.

Mooresville Citizen, on the ballot that I voted on during the election there could be only write in voting on Congressional offices as the State and under balloting would not allow for write in's. A decision made by Mayfield. On my ballot which was on a voting machine there were two congressional house of representatives who appeared. Why don't you check precinct to precinct and see if more than one appeared in precincts, because in the precincts where Rokita is the Representative, then the other congressional district should not have appeared. She didn't take the time to set the ballots correctly per precinct.
