Perhaps when the water processed by the city is more expensive than bottled water the employees in the water office and in city hall will drink it rather than have bottled water delivered to them by truck as they do now.

OOOOOO the hurt. Isn't it funny , now we wait the Feds decision on how much more we shall pay in Taxes. Are we getting poorer with all these adjustments (?) or am I getting too old to undeerstand what is good for me?

BY the way did anyone hear that Obama wants total control of taxes and spending?
God forbid the congress giving any president that control.

There are some petitions around the town. You may have to ask some of the business folks if they have one. I know Joe Neal has one and there are others.Sign it and let you family, friends, and neighbors know about it.
This is senseless. That is why we need new board members- ones who care about the people of the town and not what they want.

Nothing has been said about what this utility is charging for new construction hookups. To connect to the water and sewer systems in Martinsville now, you have to fork out over $4,000! Talk about a disincentive for attracting businesses and new families!
