Her bill which provides that taxpayers pay the medical expenses of reserve officers instead of their own health insurance companies was no doubt influenced by her and her husband's interest in the insurance agency they own.

I wasn't going to comment on this because it is so far out in left field it's not funny, but I think I speak for most. I don't have a problem paying for the medical bills of those who get injured in the line of duty serving on either the police or fire department. Whether they are reserve or active duty.

Danny I agree with you. The bill provides the same coverage for reserve police officers that has been afforded volunteer fireman for many years.
