Mr. DeBoy writes a very thought provoking, fact based letter. I guess the point is that constituents shouldn't waste their time trying to talk to Cook and Watkins and should instead direct their complaints and concerns to the other three board members. (?)

Ratcatcher, apparently you haven't been to the meetings that have been held for the public. All five of the town council members want to buy the water company. They think it will save the water customers money in the long run but I really doubt it. This is why we need five new board members. Someone who cares about what the people want and not what they want. This town must have millions of dollars that is collecting dust and they want to get rid of it. The town council bought the Southbridge Shopping Center, lazers for the police department, 3 new police cars, and now they want to buy the water company. I wish I had some of that money. Residents of Mooresville need to wake up and go to these meetings and find out what is really going on. There are more surprises coming and they will cost us more money.
